UGH
Set up your device — install UGH & Piper's World
💡

Why it's needed: UGH and Piper's World aren't in the Play Store, so your device has to be told it's OK to install them from a file. These steps unlock that — safely and reversibly.

1

🛠️ Turn on Developer Options

Google TV

Settings ▸ System ▸ About → scroll to “Android TV OS build” and click it 7 times. You'll see “You are now a developer.”

Fire TV

Settings ▸ My Fire TV ▸ About → highlight the device name / serial and click 7 times.

2

🔓 Allow “unknown apps”

This lets your device install apps from a file instead of only the store. Turn it on for the app that does the installing (your browser or Downloader).

Google TV

Settings ▸ Apps ▸ Security & restrictions ▸ Unknown sources → toggle ON for Downloader.

Fire TV

Settings ▸ My Fire TV ▸ Developer options ▸ Install unknown apps → turn ON for the browser/Downloader.

3

🌐 Get a browser (Google TV has none!)

Google TV ships with no web browser at all — that's normal, not a mistake. Install one from the Play Store (search on your device). Best pick for a remote:

Downloader ✓ use this
Type a short link → grabs & installs the app
Chrome / Firefox
Phone browsers — clunky with a remote, avoid
4

⬇️ Download & install UGH

Open Downloader and type ughosting.net/csetupGo. A short code shows on the TV — have UGH Support approve it, and your downloads unlock. Tap UGH; when the .apk finishes, open it and choose Install.

  • First install pops “For your security…” → choose Settings, flip the unknown-apps toggle on for that app (Step 2), back out, then Install.
  • After it installs you can delete the .apk to save space.
  • The app may not show on the home row → find it under Apps ▸ See all.
5

✅ Add Piper's World & finish

Install Piper's World from that same ughosting.net/csetup screen. When done, open UGH and enter your login once — your device is ready to watch.

⚠️ Heads-up: only install from links you trust. “Unknown sources” turns off your device's safety check, so a bad file could install too. Turn the toggle back off after you're done if you want it locked down.
